As we can see firing Lane wasn't the problem. The problem with Oakland is Al Davis and his 1960's philosophy. How can you say all the things about Lane and his issues with Russel when they still talk even after being fired. The Raiders have more loses recently then the Detroit Lions what a joke. I thought there was a commitment to excellence and obviously there isn't. They are on pace for 6 straight 11 loss seasons. The players actually played for Lane and easily could have 2 more wins. The talent isn't there yet and Lane should have been given at least 1 more year. As a raiders fan I'm ashamed to say that we have the worst organization in football even worse then the lions.
